North West Business Development Centre conducts a range of workshops throughout the year, addressing various key business subjects. Conducted over breakfast or conveniently scheduled in the evening, clients have the opportunity to address specific issues and meet like-minded business owners and managers.

One on One Business Mentoring and Consulting Sessions

NWBDC has approved 20 experienced business mentors and consultants who are available to clients on a casual basis. Funded by the Federal Government Department of AusIndustry until 2012, NWBDC offers small business owners and managers the option of working individually with a business specialist.

Business Accelerator Program (BAP)

The BAP is a 12 week program especially designed for small business clients who want to spend more time working through specific business issues. This program incorporates 7 X 2 hour sessions held once a week and also provides the added benefit of a mentor to work on a course of action, selected by the client, to improve business performance.

Certificate IV in Small Business Management

Many of our clients have requested accreditation for the workshops, mentoring and business programs they undertake with us.
Work at your own pace with help from our Business Advisers, or perhaps use our program of business workshops to achieve Certificate IV in Small Business Management, while working on projects that are relevant to your business.

To become a licensed builder or contractor in South Australia, you need to go through a licensing process with Consumer Affairs (www.ocba.sa.gov.au), to make it easier for people to complete the training and assess their skills, components of Certificate IV in Small Business Management allow flexible online training and support from NWBDC consultants.
